  Motion fxplug not showing up

  Someone sent me an fxplug for Motion 5. I put it in a LibraryPlug-insFxPlug folder (had to make one as there was none.) The plug does not show up under Filters and when I click on a sample project he sent me that uses the plug, the option to Locate the missing plug is grayed out.
  Any help would be appreciated.

  Do I need a Frameworks of some kind to run a 3rd party FXplug? Woudln’t that have been installed when I installed Motion 5? Does anyone have any suggestions? Where should the plug be installed?
