In CS3 the MOTION tab is only available for still photos but it is not available for video clips. I have unlinked the video, I have moved the video clips to other tracks but the option under video effects is not there. The only options I have are Opacity and Time Remapping. Any insight would be great.

There is something horribly wrong with your installation. You might try deleting the preferences file, but it may take a full removal and reinstallation.

I have never, ever, seen the Motion Effect missing. Ever.

Don’t look under Video Effects, but look in the Effect Controls tab.

Well when I start a new project and import the same video clips as my current project with the missing MOTION tab, the MOTION tab is available. It seems like a slight bug but I dont think it requires a reload.
