Is there a way to tie an emitters behavior to an audio track? I’d like to use one of the energy particles and have it react to the peaks and valleys of a narration track. I remeber doing something like this in in AE with motion math, but would like to do the same in motion.

Any pointers of where to start as I’m still a motion rookie in training.

    Thanks

I am experimenting with the same thing, but by producing MIDI data from audio analysis in Max/MSP and sending the MIDI data to Motion to control parameters. Anyone with experience with this for real time parameter control in a live context? How is video performance? Is this really a usable function?

I remember the NAB demo artist using a midi input to create certain looks. Guess I’m SOL on this as I have a deadline next week to complete my animation. After Effects, here I come.
