Motion effects in FCP
Hello everybody,
I didnt find any answer in the archives. Since you can render Motion 2.1 effects in FCP 5.1’s timeline, is it possible to apply a filter designed for Motion 2.1 (in this instance, glow, that motion has and fcp doesnt) directly in FCP without going through motion? Dont know if this is clear, so Ill precise what I mean: there is probably a folder containing the effects that can be applied in Motion 2.1, can I copy the contents of the folder to the Plugin folder that FCP has? -

I don’t think you can apply a Motion only filter in FCP. you could find those folders you mention and give it a try. Let us know what you find!
