motion crashes with DV matte blast and crop
I am keying in motion with DV matte blast. Due to certain shots I have to crop my frame. When I drop on DV matte I loose the crop. I try to move crop lower in the heigarcy in the inspector but then motion crashes and closes. I am rountripping from FCP and taking a clip into motion. Any reason why this would happen?

Can’t tell you why it’s happening, but have you tried to use a mask instead of cropping? Don’t know if it will fix this for you but it’s worth a shot.
