  Motion Crash when Tabbing from FCP

  Hello all!

  Nearly every time I tab from Final Cut Pro 6 to Motion 3, Motion freezes and no longer responds. All I am doing is changing text inside a text box. The background is video, but I’m not playing it out, simply clicking the text box and then it freezes.

  All of my software is up to date and these are my system specs:

  Model Name: Mac Pro
  Model Identifier: MacPro3,1
  Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
  Processor Speed: 3.2 GHz
  Number Of Processors: 2
  Total Number Of Cores: 8
  L2 Cache (per processor): 12 MB
  Memory: 8 GB
  Bus Speed: 1.6 GHz

  I’m also using AJA Kona LHe. Any idea what might be happening and how I can fix this?
