  • Motion, Cinema Tools and ST Pro hang after SSD and reinstall

Sigh….. So installed an SSD into my iMac 27″ recently, and re-installed FCS onto it. The User folder and the media folder for Motion and Soundtrack pro are on the Macintosh HD which is also in there. The User folder is also in there. It takes AGES for them to start. FCP seems to start normally, as does compressor. Im not sure whats happening here, or why having the media on a separate drive should make them start so slow. Its not even slow starting, its just the Window comes up with the name of the program and nothing else, and it hangs for ages and ages, then it suddenly works fine. After a restart, the same thing happens. Any ideas?
