I have a 3d camera in motion quickly trucking in on a object, i want to get that great motion blur effect as if the layer were in motion moving towards the camera. How can i apply motion blur to when the camera moves?

I have tried changing the shutter in the comp, but that isn’t exactly what i am looking for.

    Thanks!

Even if the camera (rather than the object) is moving, motion blur is still calculated. I just did a quick test and it does work (i wasn’t actually sure myself). Just make sure you have motion blur enabled for the layers you want to blur, and the overall MB switch for the comp.

Sure enough! I guess i didn’t notice it at first. Thanks for helping me slow down and take a second look.
