Hello, I’ve tried to add some motion blur in vegas 8 and when i start to render it is normal, but when it comes to motion blur part vegas crashes and i get the screen send error report / don’t send. Some people told me to switch to vegas 7, so I’ve tried that and this is what happens when it tries to render motion blur part : https://img228.imageshack.us/i/bugi.png/ . I am using win xp professional 32 bit, 32 bit vegas. My graph card is ATI HD 4830 and proc is intel core 2 duo e7300, and I’ve tried rendering as .avi and .wmv. Thanks in advance.

Not that this would have much bearing on the issue, but I notice you are using a “restored” VEG? Try naming and saving it first. What IS the Media you are using?

Motion Blur works fine. But it IS CPU intensive. How is the rest of your PC? Have you cleaned it up lately? Do you know how much hard drive space you have? Are you doing this rendering from and to the C: or system drive?

My thoughts are that you have picked on a majorly CPU and HDD process, MotionBlur+Rendering in Vegas, that might just be highlighting an underlying issue with your pc.

    Grazie

Well @ my first try it wasnt a restored .veg, I saved it and same thing happened. I’m using .avi which is rendered in virtual dub (screenshots) and has lagarith losless codec. Well I’ve got 1x 500gb hdd and 1x 80 gb hdd 1 is sata connected and other is ide. Got 2gb of ram and a gigabyte motherboard. At the moment i tried motion blur had around 200 gigs free. I’ve cleaned up my pc week ago, and I’m not rendering from system drive, I’m rendering form 😀 to :F. dont know if it has anything to do with this but im using dual boot (xp + win7) and this footage was rendered @win7 before i putted it into vegas.
