  • Motion blur on Environment reflection?

Posted by Greg Neumayer on February 2, 2009 at 11:43 pm

This seems like it should be a no-brainer, but for some reason, I can’t get my renderer to give me motion blur in the reflection of an Environment. For example, a car door shutting with a blurred reflection of the world (environment mapped to the glass window) during movement. I thought I could just put a motion blur tag on my object, then turn on the scene motion blur in my render settings, but that doesn’t seem to do the trick. Any input?
    Thanks,
    Greg

    Hey Greg,
Any answer on that? I tried it also by exporting Motion Vectors MultiPass (for ReelSmart Motion Blur), no luck.

    Thanks,
    Misha
