I can’t seem to get motion blur to work on my 3D layers. I can’t figure it out. I am using 35mm Camera and motion blur is turned on the layers as well as the comp. My Shutter Angle is 180 and Shutter Phase at -90. I think these are the defaults which should work fine but no blur at all. I’ve tried moving the camera as well as just moving the layer. Can anyone assist me. Thank you

ok so i figured out that when i render out, it has motion blur just not when i do a ram preview. is there a setting where i can see motion blur during ram preview?

yep, at the top of the timeline are several buttons that control options for the preview window, the motion blur button looks like a circle wither several iterations trailing it.

i had that turned on. i actually figured it out. i had open gl turned on. i guess open gl doesn’t like motion blur on 3D layers. but as soon as i turned that off, i got the blurs. thanks for everyone’s help.

… a cruel joke. It would be ironic if it weren’t sadistic.
May the thrice-cursed camel spawn who invented it pay the price in their next lives.
