    Motion Blur Lock Up?????

    So I’m rendering pretty good sized files: 1280 x 720 with DVCPRO HD 720p60. I’m creating graphics for a project shot on the Panasonic HVX200.

    SO…my motion graphics aren’t THAT complex, but whenever I try to render them, select motion blur “On For Check Layers”, start the render, then you see the progress bar getting to the motion blured portion of the sequence and BOOM, the evil rainbow twirl pops up, and on the alias of After Effects in my dock it says “Application Not Responding”.

    I have to force quit.

    When I render it with motion blur unchecked, it works fine.

    I WANT motion blur though.

    I’m working in AE 6.5

    Any suggestions?

    Switch on your activity monitor and check the RAM. Are you maxing out your RAM usage?
