Motion blur after redering and burning to blu ray
I have a 50 minute project shot in 1080p 60fps that I edited in the same format. When it came time to render and burn to blu ray I didn’t have the option of 60fps (not a blu ray standard) so I choose 24p. The resulting blu ray had pretty bad motion blur. I looked at the iso that was created and it is there too. I tried rendering to 60i and the iso has blur also (didn’t try burning to blu ray). The only way around it was to render only to mp4 60p. Then I imported the mp4 into a new project and created an iso. That iso looked good. Before I waste a lot of blu ray disks….is this going to work? I still need to get to 60i?
Sorry for the question but I have spend hours googling the issue and am more confused now than ever.

That was not motion blur. That was caused by 60 frames per second being blended into 24 frames per second. This is not a good idea.

What you need to do is go to each and every video event on the timeline that contains 60p footage and right-click and open the Properties and check Disable Resample. If you want to do this quickly, you can purchase the VASST Property Assistant plug-in for $9.95 USD and change them all with one click.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I’ll give that a try. It’s all 1080p 60fps so I will try the software route. Should I render to 24p or 60i when going to bluray? I understand some players can play 60p also.
