I’m working on a 3D camera move and when I enable motion blur certain layers (or parts of layers) disappear and reappear throughout the camera move. Examples (watch lake reflections on right):

    Frame 08
    Frame 09 (reflections layer disappears)
Frame 11 (reflections layer reappears (or at least half of it)

All layers are 3D and exist parallel on the same plane (ie, the map sits at a z position of 0, as does the reflections layer, but layerd above in the layer stack). Playing with the shutter angle (and phase), samples per frame, and f-stop of camera all seem to affect when/which layers perform the disappearing act. This leads me to believe that it has to do with how many samples sit above or below certain layers in 3D space/history.

Has anyone experienced this before and if so, what is the fix?

What happens if you put the reflection on -1 z-position?

It would help, but still have issues, just at a different time in the comp.
