Does anyone know of a way to set up PPRO so that the motion and opacity drop downs remain open all the time.. or on launch. I use them all the time as I’m sure many folks do and it would just be sweet to select a clip and have those parameters already open…. is there a key command to toggle the drop downs? I don’t know of one.. thanks!

If you hold down the Alt and hit one of the triangles all the parameters drop down.
(This also works in the Project Panel)
Alas you cannot set this in default.

I have the reverse question. Annoyingly, in CS6 Levels always opens as fully expanded, completely filling up my Effects window causing me to minimize it every time. This didn’t happen in previous versions. Is there any way to make it go back to the old way, where it opened minimized? 🙂

I havent tested it… but if you have your effects submenus toggled down when you save a custom layout… will that cause it to remain that way? I’m having an issue (just a little annoying – nothing major) where when a project opens it always opens my effects list over my project files window.. when I’d like it ot default to the reverse..

    Try resetting current workspace.
