    Compressor

It seems Final Cut Pro X online PDF is not yet available.

Here’s what someone posted the other day on the board. It’s to get a pdf of the Help Document so you don’t have to use the terrible HTML version. HOpefully an actual manual will be out soon..but I’m not holding my breath. There’s no index or anything on the Help doc so it’s kinda crappy trying to read through it

[Gerry Fraiberg] “The long and winding road will eventually lead to the FCP X Help page. Too bad it isn’t more readily available.

Click on the link: For more information, visit https://www.apple.com/finalcutpro.

On the FCP page, click on Tech Specs.

On the Tech Specs page, click on Explore third-party plug-ins, tutorials and other useful resources for Final Cut Pro X. View Resources >

On the Resources page, scroll down to Support > Final Cut Pro Support Page. Click on the link.

On the Final Cut Pro X Support Page, scroll down to Get Started > User Manuals.

    Or, follow this link: https://support.apple.com/kb/HT4681

When you click on a manual, you get online help. It would be nice if there is a downloadable PDF. The workaround I used: In the upper right hand corner, click on the printer icon and select: Book – Final Cut Pro Help. Instead of my printer, I selected Bull Zip p

Matt it’s very easy to get a PDF but it’s not a properly “set” manual though as far as spacing and page/line breaks, etc.
    Go to this link
    https://help.apple.com/finalcutpro/mac/10.0/
On the upper right of the web page you’ll see an icon of a printer.
Click on that and you’ll get “Book Final Cut Pro Help”
Click on that andy you’ll get your Print Dialogue.
    Then Print to PDF.

If you look through the PDF it’s a mess as far as proper layout is concerned. There are even graphics that split across pages. If they done proper PDFs for Motion and Compressor, they should do one for FCPX.

We’re saying the same thing. Problem is It was super late and I was tired when I replied and it was ultra confusing b/c I used a quote, then wrote a messgae, then coppied an old quote from an old thread explaining where/how to get the help PDF.

Hope a real manual comes out soon.
