Motion 5 not responding
Motion 5 has become slow to launch and 3 weeks ago the ONLY way I could get to Motion was to Open a previous project, then “Save as” and continue to work. For the past week, Motion will not respond at all.
A colleague of mine said the past few days, his Motion 5 has taken over 3 minutes to launch.
You get to the Open screen where you choose “Project, and FCP Title” etcetera. and I get the spinning beach ball? Motion 5 and Final Cut X are not so closely tied, (and great I might add) that Motion 5 is beginning to become an everyday part of my workflow. Any thoughts? OS X Yosemite, FCP 10.2.1, 27″ iMac Core i7 with 32gig ram, 12TB Pegasus array.

Try trashing your preferences by holding down the Option and Command keys when you launch Motion.
