    Hi.

I’m having a major problem that I don’t know how to solve. I have a project that was made in Motion 4 with effects that are also available in Motion 5. I’ve opened the project in Mo5 and the result after exporting the video is a bit different. The values of every attribute are the same so I don’t know what is happening.
I’m talking about a shinny animated effect done with a emitter.

Is there any option or tweak to get exactly the same result between the 2 versions of the software?

    Thank you!

Motion 5 is fully color-managed and works in a different color space than Motion 4 (it’s more “accurate”) – so you’ll likely not be able to match exports exactly between the two. You can try adding a Gamma filter to the affected layers and adjust it to 1.8 or 2.2 to see if that helps.

I’ve tried what you said and it didn’t work. I’m talking about a emitter that has a star shape and a blur associated to it. In motion 4 we can see the stars with the blur but also they are clear. In motion 5, the blur simply is too aggressive and causes a “cloud” around the star.
I’ve already compared every value and everything is the same…
