Motion 4 Crashes
Hi, perhaps I’m living in the dark ages, but I am still using Motion 4. A little while ago I updated to Mavericks OS and it didnt seem to have any affect, but my most recent project has been freezing alot, and causing Motion to crash. Now its got to where I cant even open the project at all. I even plugged the external into another computer that is on a previous operating system and this file will not open at all. Any thoughts?

Motion 4 and Mavericks should be fine. I’d check the usual suspects, trash prefs, repair permissions, etc. try a new project and see if it’s just the one project causing the problem.
Why not drop the $50 on Motion 5? Or are you still using FCP 7?

Thanks Bret, yeah I did some of those things and it seemed to help for a little while and then back to crashing. I am using FCP7 yes, I had tried a friends FCPX awhile ago and wasn’t a big fan, so that is why I havent switched over everything. Change is hard! haha.
