Don’t get me wrong, I love Motion 3 except that it can be difficult to run and dealing with templates in HD is a real “pain in the a..”.

What I am talking about is working in 3D is somewhat tough when your camera gets out of whack.

And the templates that are HD, are actually 720p resolution but I work mostly in 1080i. This creates issues when you have to convert the templates to 1080i. I have a couple now that I finally like but when rendered in FCP6 they look very jittery. This happens in DVCProHD, Apple ProRes 422 and Apple ProRes 422 HQ. I’m at a real lose to what’s going on.

Well I’m at a loss too. All the HD templates are 29.97 fps. Once you open a template you can’t change the time base… HELLO!

I feel your frustration… Adjusting these templates can be done but they are a real pain. The only way I see that you can change the time base is to render the file out and use Compressor or Cinema Tools to change your time base.
