Motion 2 misbehavin’
Nasty.
I am using a G5 2.5 dual with 4.5 Gb RAM, KONA 2, system 10.4.2 and motion 2.
The G5 is fitted with the apple standard ATI 9600 XT running a 30″ Apple display.
Motion has started NOT displaying material: background defaulting to 50% grey and flashing,
all filters inoperable.
I am doing simple replicates with 8 – 10 second PAL SD uncompressed material.FCP 5.02 is exhibiting related behaviour: canvas and source monitor defaulting to white on playback,
as if display is set to white in each window. This I will deal with via trashing FCP preferences but
does anyone have any idea about what to do about Motion 2?thanks in advance

next for me to try is reinstalling tiger
since it seems that core may be corrupt
