    Motion 1.0 freezing!

    Hi All,

    I’m a newish (sept 04) mac user so please be gently with me!. I have only recently got round to installing motion 1.0 onto my G5 mac from the production suite. Everytime I run the program, and do a few particle effects and some text the whole program freezes I have to power down the mac & reboot. Usually it locks up after around 10-15 mins use of motion, Ive tried this under Tiger & panther (10.3.9) and get the same results. My system setup is: Mac G5 Dual 2ghz, 2gb ram, 160gb boot, 400gb video drive, ATI Radeon 9800 pro 128mb, external FW800 250gb HD & FW400 80gb HD(Panther 10.3.9 installed). Any ideas anyone??

    Have you updated to the latest versions of Motion 1 and QT, etc? The first version out of the box was a bit crashy.

    Thanks for your reply noah, yes I have installed all current updates, QT 7.0.1 & Motion 1.0.1

    Hey Derrick

    I had the same problem and found if I deleted the Motion Preference file it sorted it out completely.

    Their located in the Library.
