I just ordered the BM Intensity pro, only to come home and re-read the web page to find out it only fits in a PCI express slot. And my the looks of things ALL BM cards are PCI express, is this correct? Im very discouraged at the moment. Ive been running a 2×3.06 xeon machine for 5 years now and have no ambition of replacing the mobo. Im presently running Matrox RT100 but have moved on to HDV but would like to retain the ability, to still bring in lower formats. Any suggestions?

5 years is 100 years in the computer world. PCI-X and PCI is over – all PC’s and all PCI products are being made for PCI express from EVERY manufacturer these days – Matrox, AJA, Blackmagic, and others.

    Time for a new PC.
