Motherboard for 64bit amd pci express
Any suggestions? I am wanting to go the with amd 64 bit processor with a pci express slot. I intend to have 4 x 512 memory & fire wire interface. And something like an FX 550 graphics.

There are several good options. THe top 2 in my opinion are the DFI Ultra D board or the Asus A8N. Both have an SLI option but it’s not clear whether that tech will ever help the video world.
FWIW I just built a dual Opteron system and PPro and AE really fly on it.

Also, both of these MBs have built-in firewire of course.
