I have filmed an actor and I want to morph him into a poser character. But how do I get the Poser character into AE?

Also since this maybe a morph effect: There is an effect in the movies where the character appears to shake his head violently and rapidly from side to side and as he does he turns into something else when he is done. (Important note..if you witness this it might be a good idea to leave because they NEVER turn into anything good)

Can you give me any pointers on how to achieve this effect?

    Thank you.

You don’t get the Poser character in AE, you render the sequence in Poser with the character animated

Maybe Pete remembers, haven’t use Poser for ages, but if there is a roto plane in Poser (a way to load an image sequence), approximatively animate the character in Poser so it matches the live-action.

Then you can use that rendered sequence and the original sequence to morph one into the other. To simplify your life try to make the morph transition in a section where the live-action does not move, then the manual registration of the 3D character will be real simple.
