    Howdy,

    I’m using studio 2 with a Dual 4 GB.
Looking to Morph video and stills. Shooting
mostly with HVX200 and High Res Stills.

Any Suggestions for morphing plugins or
software? My friend suggested plugins for
After Effects as a last resort…

Anybody tried Morphing FX? from CHV Electronics?

    Thanks!

    Anton

I have two plugin packages to create a morph effect. The difference between our two Morph plugin packages lies in the used plugin interface technology.

    The Morph-collection
This package runs with Final Cut Pro (all versions) and Final Cut Express (all versions).

    Morphing FX
This package runs only with Motion (2.1.2, 3 and up).

“Morphing FX” only works with Motion and not with FCP, yet, even though it is a FxPlug plugin package. The reason for that is “Morphing FX” uses some functions of the FxPlug plugin interface that FCP is unaware of. My other morph plugin package “The Morph-collection” works with all versions of Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Express because it based on the Fx-Script plugin interface.

Morphing FX is easier to handle, because of the better user interface of Motion compared to Final Cut Pro. If you have the Final Cut Studio 2 package then I would suggest that you go for Morphing FX and use it with Motion, but you can also buy the Morph-collection and create the morph effect with Final Cut Pro.
