  • Morphing one model into another

I have not done this before so some guidance is required.
I have two different “species” of fish and need to morph from one to the other but not the “whole” model directly into the other model. It needs to be progressive from the head to the tail.
I am hoping someone may have done this already and can accelerate my learning curve or if not at least direct me to a useful resource.

    Many thanks
    Greg

    Hi,
a smooth transition can be done using morphing, however this requires the two meshes to have the same topology (point/polygon count). Another option is Thinking Particles with PBlurb, it allows to brake down any object to fragments gradualy and rebuild a new object from the fragments.
