Do any of you know any tips/tricks/tutorials/plugins (that sorta thing) that allows a person to morph faces together? So one persons face would morph into another person’s face using just still imagery?

And to be clear, I want one individual person to turn into the next individual person not a combination of the two.

    Thx,
    Amber

I have used MorphX from Norrkross software successfully several times, it is free software, it does take a bit of tweaking to get the settings right, and the more time you spend setting morph points, the better the morph will turn out. I have used it to morph between 14 photos (following a subject from age 4 to age 18) You simply create each morph and then string the quicktimes together.

Search google. I’ve seen 3rd party software plug-ins that do this. I’m pretty sure that’s what you’ll need as Final Cut doesn’t really have anything built in to do this directly.

I’ve seen some for Final Cut and one for Motion too, I think. They usually cost between $50-$100. Hopefully you can find reviews for them online as I can’t suggest one over any other.

Thanks – I’ll play around with it to try and get the effect I’m looking for – much appreciated!

CHV plugins also have morphing tools. I have not tried that one specifically although I have used other plugins in the set.
