December 3, 2009 at 7:31 amHave a look at my video tutorial that covers this subject: https://embryo.me.uk/wp/2009/03/18/video-tutorial-frame-blending-available-now/
You can also subscribe to my Podcast link is below video tutorial Frame Blending. I think you will be surprised how good morphing is in Apple Motion. -

December 3, 2009 at 9:10 amI need quality like a real morpher with full spline control that doesn’t take years. Sorry but Frame blending stills is a far cry from real morphing.
Like this is all done with a re:flex. No squishy pixels.

https://revisionfx.com/view_media.php?m=/video/products/reflex/gallery/CrystalLightSmall.mov&t=mov&s=320,180all of which can be done with either Re:flex or with the tools built into Shake and Nuke. Re:flex doesn’t seem to work in motion so I thought I would ask if there was something as good as reflex.

December 3, 2009 at 5:58 pmHowdy,
Quality morpher/warpers, especially spline-based ones, have been scarce for years. Even as recently as a few years ago, I knew people who still maintained old systems that they could run Elastic Reality on.
That being said, CHV makes a couple of FxPlug plug-ins that do mesh-based morphing and warping. As FxPlugs, they run in both Motion and FCP: https://www.chv-plugins.com/cms/FxPlug/Morphing/Morphing.php

March 11, 2010 at 3:37 pmI just used the CHV Morphing FX V1.5.1 and it worked pretty good. Its hard to use at first but it did the job.
