Morph cuts
Can someone help me with understanding morph cuts. I’ve applied these a couple times to my timeline, but two problems happen (as a side note – the morph cut was applied to a ‘talking head’ shot, with little movement). First problem is that both times the video freezes for a moment during the transition. So much so that the awkward jump cut looks a lot better. I tried reducing the length of the morph cut, but this doesn’t help.
I thought possibly this was just a play back issue, so I explored it, in case the freeze only happened when premier was open. But after I exported it, I had the ‘frames analyzing’ in actual export. This seems strange since this bar had disappeared and the frames had seemed to finish analyzing before render/export.
Can anyone help with this?

Hi Stacy.
Morph cuts doesn’t seem to love up to it’s promise. I’ve tried morph many, many times and I agree that a jump ct looks much better most of the time.
As for the frame analyzing thing, did you do a render sequence ?
