    Hello,
I am working on a compisition in After Effects. I have a solid in a 3D space with a light on it. I am getting a Morie pattern around where the light hits the solid. I am using AE 7 on a Quad G5. Has anyone else noticed this problem? We also have another edit station that I tried the same setup with and AE had the same Issues. Thanks! – Jeff

if you are seeing the problem in the preview pane then switching to 16 bits/channel color should fix it. if 16 bits isn’t an option then adding noise can help (it sounds wierd to add noise to clean something up, but it does usually help).

if the problem is only in the render, try a different codec… animation – lossless.

Thanks for your help! I added 3% noise with a huge improvement!
