    More than one decklink card in a G4 1.42

    Hi there,
    I am a happy user of a decklink SP card together with my G4 1.42G and a Beta SP UVW 1400 and Final Cut Pro 4.5.
    I am planing to add a Sony J-30 SDI deck to my suite for Digital Beta capture.

    Is it possible to use more than one decklink card in a G4?

    What decklink is the best choice for my setup? Decklink 2 plus my existing SP?
    Or do I need to purchase a Decklink Extreme instead?

    Hi Sebastian,

    It is not currently possible to use more than one DeckLink card in a Mac or PC. We would like to do that and we’ve worked on the project several times but it has been pushed aside by other developments. If you need a solution today, then the DeckLink Extreme would enable you to connect to either Betacam SP or Digibeta. Hopefully we’ll be able to support multiple cards in the not too distant future but I don’t have any definite schedule for you.
