    Hi,

I have a project that requires 13 different languages.
Im planning on authoring the project with the video stream in 2 different timelines, having 8 audio streams on one and the other 7 on the other.
The major problem with this is Im wasting space on the disc and the quality of the video streams is suffering quite badly.

I was wondering if it is possible (in whatever authoring software) to author multiple timelines with the same bit of video but where the timelines just link to the video file (kind of like a playlist) so im not doubling up the actual same bit of video on the disc?

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    Tom.

Nope- 8 streams is the limit of the DVD spec and you cannot mix video tracks with unconnected audio tracks. The only way to make this work is with two copies of the video.
