Is It About the Money?

Will It End Piracy?
“The Creative Cloud’s the future of Creative and when you look at the value that customers … are getting through the Creative Cloud, we just think that that’s phenomenal value for our customers.”
Will It Cost Me More?
“The Creative Cloud’s the future of Creative and when you look at the value that customers … are getting through the Creative Cloud, we just think that that’s phenomenal value for our customers.”
What If I’m Not Connected?
“The Creative Cloud’s the future of Creative and when you look at the value that customers … are getting through the Creative Cloud, we just think that that’s phenomenal value for our customers.”
Is Boxed Software Dead?
“The Creative Cloud’s the future of Creative and when you look at the value that customers … are getting through the Creative Cloud, we just think that that’s phenomenal value for our customers.”
Are You Building Hardware?
“The Creative Cloud’s the future of Creative and when you look at the value that customers … are getting through the Creative Cloud, we just think that that’s phenomenal value for our customers.”
Is This Change Too Radical?
“The Creative Cloud’s the future of Creative and when you look at the value that customers … are getting through the Creative Cloud, we just think that that’s phenomenal value for our customers.”

If this would ever be proved to be accurate, somewhere in a PR firm, a team would be high-fiving each other wildly and firing off emails to the CEO saying what an absolutely OUTSTANDING job he did.
Learn from politics. Repeat the same exact well-coordinated talking points relentlessly enough – and some swayable people start believing that it’s not opinion, it’s truth.

Unfortunately, this is what execs (and others about to face the media) are (sometimes) coached to do. Repeat the the talking points… do not deviate. Sometimes these folks are good at repeating the same points in different ways so it looks like they’re giving different answers… sometimes they’re not so good at it. See results below. So yes, Bill is most likely right. This er… performance, could have been met with a high five from a corporate communications type.
