I’m trying to have a simple blinking effect without the smooth transition of a tween. I was able to do this quickly in Animate, but even after playing with easing, I can’t get it in After Effects. Is there an effect or preset I’m missing?

If you right-click a keyframe (or a group of keyframes), you can select “Toggle hold keyframe.” This holds the property’s value constant until the next keyframe, where it will instantaneously switch instead of smoothly tweening.

hi, the video copilot twitch plugin, it has a preset called blinking, it is very good and I use it in my proyects, in any case if I did it manually, it would be the fusion of fast blur + brightness and contrast with the expression “random”
