More colour issues with fcp / compressor / h.264
hi all, i know there are colour issues with anything quicktime related but im really struggling with this, this is a screen gram of what compressor is telling me i should be getting and below the same frame from the video output
how can i fix this?
Bizarrely the prores file also looks desaturated on playback but is the right saturation in compressor!!!

have you enabled FCS color compatibility in your QT prefs?

Jeremy, thanks for the reply. I certainly have, although unchecking it didnt seem to change anything!
I think i have the culprit though, it is just quicktimes rendition of the video thats off, in this screengrab VLC is at the top and QT is at the bottom, a massive difference.

OK, after i turned off fcp colour support in QT and nothing happened, when i turned it back on it did correct the issue. Either I have had far too much rum or it wasn’t turned on in the first place (im sure it was as I haven’t even started on the rum yet) or something screwy was happening to QT. either way its all good now.
