  • More accurate stroke? Also lens flare whiteout

Ok so I made this video and I need some help. If you watch it carefully you can see that as the stroke effect goes along the path there are some edges that need to be cleaned up (i am basically uncovering a text image with the stroke effect). Is there any way to make the stroke square instead of circular? or should I just keyframe the size to clean it up.
Secondly, is there any way to get rid of the washed out look when there is the lens flare? I just think it makes it look too animated. Thanks!

“Is there any way to make the stroke square instead of circular?”

Don’t think there is any way to do so. Animating the brush size is the best way.

Which flare you are referring to? The one which is animating with the stroke or the which comes before your final logo reveals.

You can go for better flares(this will definitely enhance the overall look and feel) pack like Optical Flare from Video copilot and Knoll Light Factory.

Try changing the transfer mode for the lens flare layer, maybe hard light or multiply.

I was referring to the flare that is animating the stroke. It was done with optical flares. It just annoys me how there are those circular light lines that kind of wash out the black ness and stuff
