Is there a way to fake monorail camera movements in c4d? I want to achieve the effect of tilting the back of a view camera, so that I can correct verticals in a render that is looking slightly down on a cylinder shaped bit of packaging. I can correct the verticals (kind of) in Photoshop, but it’s not as good a result as I was hoping for. Strange request, but you never know – someone might have figured out a way of doing it!

    Thanks

You can do this with the camera offset function. It works just like a tilt/shift lens.

Thanks Adam, I thought this wasn’t working at first, but realised my camera was set at a focal length of 36mm. Once I backed off and set it to 200mm, the offset gave the effect I was after.
