mono to tape
hi all
I need to edit to tape a mono sound track to Beta SP from a stereo sequence in FCP. is there any way I can do this without exporting the audio as mono then inserting back into the timeline before writing to tape.

use the pan controls to separate your audio to discrete channels:
select all clips in A1 and choose Modify > Audio > Pan Left, and select all clips in A2 and choose Modify > Audio > Pan Right etc…. or if you want a fully mixed version select all the clips in all tracks and choose Modify > Audio > Pan Center

Andy, did you ever get a good answer to this? I’ve been pan centering for years, but when I recently upgraded that was the end of that. It’s driving me crazy
