  • Mono Left Audio on a track not a region

    Hello
I am editing footage shot on A HDR FX-1 HDV, mixing with AVCHD footage shot from a different angle. On the HDR I had a Lav on Channel 1, and Boom on channel 2. Using Vegas Pro 10. I would like the audio Track that I use for the HDR to use only the left ( Lav ) panned center.
I did look this up and I can get this to work if I right click the audio region and select Left channel, but it would be nice to do this on the track so every region added to those tracks uses the proper mic, and not have to modify each region as I build my edit. Any suggestions? Heck it might be nice to have it on two mono faders rather than one stereo,
    Is that possible?
    Thanks
    Brad

Try selecting the audio track and then choose Tools | Scripting | Stereo to Mono.

If you all of your audio to come in this way go to Options | Preferences and check Import stereo as dual mono.
