    Hello, I wasn’t sure where to post this but here goes…

    I’ve got an odd problem. All new kit…

    FCP 6
    Mac Pro
    AJA Kona LHe with breakout box.
    JVC 15″ CRT with IF-C21SD1G SDI board

    <img= "https://www.bhphotovideo.com/images/images345x345/302405.jpg">

    AJA Kona LHe SDI out feeding to SDI in on IF-C21SD1G board in JVC monitor.
    Embedded audio from SDI board Analogue out Channels 1&2 feeding via sperate RCA outputs to mixer (then on to speakers)

    If I feed a stereo source from FCP – i.e some tone swapping from left and right then the mixer registers a constant mono signal on the input, rather than one swapping from left to right.

    To check the SDI output if I feed it to a deck, the meters show a stereo SDI embedded input swapping from left to right.

    My SDI board seems to be mixing the SDI feed to mono and I’ve no idea why.

    I checked the manual and my DIP switches on the board match Channel 1 feeding to Channel 1 and Channel 2 feeding to Channel 2.

    I’m a little stumped.

    Any ideas? 🙂

    hoping,

    Paul
