    Hi,

I made some interviews and I used an external lav. mic. I had all the sounds in mono and I’d like to have them in stereo. I know how to use the fill left and fill right audio effects, but Premiere doesn’t put those effect on my audio. My question is why? I had never problem with it and Premiere doesn’t even say anything, just simply not putting in on the clip.
Do you have any idea what the problem can be?

    Thank you!

It’s fine. Mono is what you need to make it go out to both L and R channels. the fill left fill right function is a stereo effect in the stereo bin in the effects panel. Nothing wrong. if you want to mix the pan of L and R out of the Mono then I suggest you look it up as it requires using track pan editing with the audio mixer. (tricky to explain)
