  • Monitoring with 35mm adapter on hvx200

    Hello everyone,
I have an HVX200 with a RedRock 35mm adapter. Adapters invert the image. I currently don’t have the cash to throw down for a nice 8″ Marshall monitor. I am considering purchasing OnLocation/DV Rack and using it to monitor. Is anyone doing this? I wonder if I can invert the picture live, while I am recording or do I have to invert my entire computer;-)

    Thanks
    Royce

You might want to wait on that purchase. Monday RedRockMicro announced they are releasing their MicoX converter. This flips the image and the way the new system is set up it also sharpens the image from what they are claiming on there website. The cost will be $450 for the full kit with risers, new achromate and more. It ships March 24th

Thanks for the heads up on this Lars. I’ve been in the buying mood to get more gadgets for my packages. I’ll hold off for now.

Adobe OnLocation has an M2 setting that does just that.
