    I’m curious what any of you would recommend for a good set of monitoring speakers. They would be used primarily for editing video (independent shorts and features) and the occasional pop music production, recording, mixing, and mastering.

    I’m sure you will all ask price range. But that’s always a trick question for me. While I don’t have a big studio budget, I won’t buy something that won’t get the job done. So I’m looking for something high quality, but economically price, whatever that may be.

    If you’re in it for the long haul, it pays to get the good stuff.

    You may not want to shoot for the Event Opals I use at $3k a pair

    But look (and listen) hard at.
