After the “great” FCPX release I would like to switch to Premiere Pro CS5.5.
I work always in HD1080 25p. My card is Decklink HD Extreme 2.

When I worked in FCP7, it was possible to set the timeline without fields and I had 25p preview on the broadcast monitor.
In Premiere, there is not a Decklink preset for 25p !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I dreaming or what ???
If I set the fields manually to progressive, the monitor goes black (not supported I guess).

All famous systems in the world can work and monitor 25p (Smoke, Avid, FCP7 …) so why Blackmagic doesn’t support this monitor preview in Premiere Pro CS5.5 with the last 8.2 drivers ??? Let’s not forget that AJA Kona 3 has these 1080 25p previews …

This is the same with the AJA presets.

Choose the 24p Blackmagic preset, in same window go to sequence and change the framerate.
    Then save as preset.

this is what I also thought, but after I change from 24fps to 25fps I am getting a black screen …
Kona has 25p preview mode (I see it on other Mac in our room), Blackmagic only 50i.
