After trying all the fixes posted and upgrades from Sony I still find Vegas 11 buggy and frustrating to use sometimes. But some of you have been using and enjoying the software without issues. That being said I was wondering if one’s monitor choice would have something to do with the unstability. (am I reaching here…you can tell I’m frustrated) for example I am using a 42 inch flat screen tv as a monitor, overkill for sure but could that have an impact?

    thanks

No, I don’t see how the monitor selection could make a difference. The video card is the determinate there.

Sorry, Monitor choices has nothing to do with
    Vegas’s un-stability.

Glad to hear that. I am running a AMD Radeon 6750. Latest driver updates.

i7 with 16gb ram. This is supposed to be a vegas compliant video card but I think people have more stability with nvidia cards, is that so?

    thanks

The issue is particularly not with most of the video cards,
its the Vegas GPU architecture etc…. But yes, most users get
    better results using nvidia cards.

Yes, it used to be rock solid, i am still hoping
those days of stability for all users will soon return.
