Monitor output from Macbook Pro
Hello,
I’m new to DaVinci Resolve and trying it out on a new Macbook Pro. I wonder what the options are for video output to a HDMI monitor? I know there’s the Ultrastudio 3D thunderbolt device, but is it the only option? I wonder if the Blackmagic Intensity Extreme is supported, or are there some other options, like Matrox MXO for example?

I think thunderbolt device is your only option at the moment.
See configuration guide from BM site.
“SDI Monitoring
All colorists will want to use a proper grading monitor, connected to an SDI capture device, for 2D and 3D monitoring. This device will usually occupy PCI Express slot 3 in a Mac Pro or a Thunderbolt port in the latest MacBook Pro or iMac computers.”You can read some more:

Intensity thunderbolt may work but is not supported. It also has very limited frame rates.
