Monitor not reading FCP
Hi!
I am editing on Final Cut 7 and my monitor has stopped working with it. It still works on Color but not on FCP. I have a Kona 3 Card connected between them. The a/v settings are the same on both: Kona 3 1080p (1920 X 1080) 24p 10 bit.
I have repaired permissions and deleted preferences but it still not regestering it. Any ideas? Perhaps there is something that has been something changed in its settings. I’ve tried everything and can’t think of anything else. I have also recently re-installed Final Cut Studio.

Check the View Menu > External Video should be All Frames.

You can Refresh A/V Devices under the View Menu.
Check FCPs Video Playback and Audio Playback settings in Audio / Video Settings.
The output from FCP corresponds with the input of the Kona out to your monitor.good luck,
