Monitor Hoods
We recently shifted our department around and I’m now sitting under the florecent lights. It is affecting my color views on my monitors. I think I’m going to build a monitor hood out of the extra black foamboard we have here.
I was wondering if anyone in the forums works with monitor hoods and how does it effect their work. I also have two monitors so there would be only one hood for the main viewing one. Does anyone have a similar set up? How is it to work with?

I use a hood and it has definitely improved visibility. Nothing would help more though than being able to turn off the lights around your workstation. In addition to the hood I had a separate switch installed on the lights in my area so I could do just that.
