Monitor for work and monitoring ??
Hi
I will configure a new edit suit and need your experience answer about some questions. I know that for real color correction feedback you need a external monitor and so on and this is my consern:
What monitor I would Buy for work in a edition suit with Avid and CS5, with extensive job for after effect and nuke for motiongraphics and visual effect.
I need monitor for interfaces and for monitoring, been looking that some EIZO have both in one monitor ?, and in some place I see Cine-tal monitor ??
2 monitor for interface works of 24″ or a one of 30″
( HP ??, Cinema Display ??, EISO, Cine-pal ??, NEC ??)and for Monitoring is a 24″
( EISO, JVC, FSI ?)With model and why ??, My burget if for 2500 € to 6000 +- (for the entire setup). But I want the most cost effective soluction. I know that I need a MXO, Blackmagic or so but that is another history 😉

Of course, you’ll drive by your external scopes. Today, a swing by Sam’s or Best Buy will hook you up with monitors… hence that old CRT collecting dust 😉
You didn’t mention what kind of break out box you’re running. -
Hi grin, by start I´m from Spain. All those gear are imported and I need to go to sure. You know what I means. Here we only have resellers that in many case what to sell you only what they have in stock, not necessarily the most important to your job.
Thats why I´m looking for experience advice about that.
I´m working for TV broadcast, visual effect and want to introduce in the color grading profesional market. I think that is the time to stop guessing and commend myself to the gods because my monitor don´t are good enough for real rich colors. Move my head to the side and have dim colors.
So I see that some expert from here (Walter
Biscardi) that I read a lot have in his own studio 2×24″ Apple Cinema for actually color respond FSI LM-2460W. As long as this is a production studios I think that this is a way to go but, I want other options, more opinios. And about the cinema display I don´t like at all the reflective surface.I see in other place that I work like freelance the JVC 24″ DT-V24G1Z and was very nice.
What about the Cine-pal, EISOS ?
